Vancouver's Chase The Bear are set to release their debut album "Honey". Their music calls on influences of rock and roll from the late 60's and 70's. "We set out to make a real rock record, no edits or tuning, and songwriting was paramount!" says producer Danny Craig.
With multiple Canadian tours under their belt, the band has a compelling live show with great audience feedback. "One kickass rock band" said Colin MacDonald of The Trews after Chase The Bear opened their Commodore Ballroom show.
Mariko Margetson of Vancouver Weekly adds, "Chase The Bear is the reason it's worth going to see the opening acts!"
And on the first single "Hurtin", Entertainment Lawyer Kurt Dahl writes, "If The Black Crows had released Hurtin in the last 20 years, it would have sparked a rock and roll comeback of epic proportions!"
